Edited Texas Hill Country Challenge
OOps I accidentally deleted my picture, here it is again ... with a few tweeks! Oh... the picture looks like it's crooked, but it isn't. If you notice the horses are perfectly straight, you can put a ruler under them... the land, however is uneven... hence the name "Hill Country" even the two red buildings are on diffent ground levels.

Still Life Challenge - Brass Gong Lady
This is my second entry for the Still life challenge.
I bought this piece at an estate sale several years ago. I desaturated the color in order to make it sort of look like she was behind a curtain instead of in front.
Still Life Challenge - Fertility Buddah with Children
This is for my still life challenge. It's the first challenge I do using my Mini Studio. I think it's a tad bit too red! What do you think?

Red Sunset behind the mountains of Monterrey, Mexico taken from the South Texas side
I took this picture on our way home from the Rio Grande Valley. The mountains are commonly known here as "El Cerro de la Silla" or "Saddle Hill" named for its distinctive saddle-shaped profile when viewed from the west, it is a famous symbol of the landscape of the state of Nuevo León, Mexico.
If you will notice on the mid-lower left, there was a "smoking" grass fire that I decided to keep in the photo!

We came across this buidling on our way to my clerk's seminar. The sign is old for sure and the building is also old but has new stuff in the front that I cropped!

My dad bought me this Buddy L about 40 years ago. He was an old trucker and dreamed of having a son who would follow his footsteps, unfortunately that didn't happen... I was his daddy's girl!
