The United Kingdom - a collection of galleries

Over the past few years we have been lucky enough to visit the United Kingdom three times. Each of the visits included a chance to visit less "touristy" locales. It has been a pleasure to get to know this wonderful country.

I love this gallery...I've done so much Latin America recently that it's nice to take a trip to the dark and ancient western world of the UK. Thanks for the journey!

Thanks for visiting my galleries - this set of galleries is intended to be a collection of images from several trips to England and hoped for trips to some of the other parts of the United Kingdom. As a Yank I am unsure of the depth of feeling and history around the name United Kingdom - but felt that it was best to call the gallery of galleries The United Kingdom to show my awareness that England was part of a greater unity. By the way, if I heard correctly, my relatives in Cornwall would be pleased to not be called "England."

Hi Tim just a question, you state that this gallery represents ths U.K. but all I see is England. What about Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland? This is the countries that make the U.K. not England.
