A gathering of my wife's family took us to Mineral Wells. My photographer's eye was impressed with the sights in a town that was a famous resort from the 20's through the 60's. A fascinating gallery, very different from your usual approach. Not a person is to be seen in Mineral Wells, but their imprint is everywhere you look. These images are rich in irony, and often a sad commentary on a place that has seen its best days. The Baker Hotel (Haunted) is fascinating. If only you were allowed inside -- you could have made an amazing gallery out of just that place. These images will always remain in my imagination.
