GALLERY ::An Anniversary Outing:: Oakland, San Francisco, and Petaluma, Califorina, Juy 2007

My wife Deborah and I celebrated our anniversary on Thursday, July 12, 2007. She has patiently put up with me for 10 years of marriage and long courtship before that. To celebrate we saw an exhibit of art celebrating Yosemite at the Oakland Museum of Art and then went to a fancy dinner in San Francisco. She even was patient with me as I made a few images, but I was careful to not chimp during dinner.

Tim, Great to see this gallery, as always. I have a special appreciation for this one, with my children at seven and five I can really empathize. I get my shots when I can. You show us here a great eye even when photography is incidental and not primary to your collection. Thanks for the gallery . Tom

Your LX2 works beautifully for you here. Who would want to be burdened with DSLR on an anniversary celebration? I took only my D-Lux-3 with me on my own recent family trip to Denver. These small cameras make us invisible as photographers and yet produce high quality images. Congratulations to you and Deborah on your anniversary on the 12th. Ours was on the 14th. No chimping for me, either.
