Los Angeles smog oftentimes creates amazing sunsets, as did the forest fire in the Crater Lake. Mother Nature is forgiving of man's careless and destructive ways. For me, the "balance" in this image is the delicate one between man and nature.
One again, you are I were fortunate to see this amazing scene together, created by forest fires burning in the area. You and I both used balance and color to capture the moment, but you also chose to use depth perception to give this image a marvelous layered look.
