The entire sculpture is a somber and horrifying reminder of how far man's inhumanity to man can go and did go. You and I know that this is a Holocaust memorial, but, by isolating this man behind barbed wire, your image portrays a more universal message and speaks to all of those who have been inhumanly and unjustly imprisoned, tortured, and/or murdered because of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, political affiliation or tribal identification.

This memorial sculpture gets to me every single time I see it. Your portrayal here really emphasizes the somber, tragic feeling that we mustn't forget. Nice work and i like the angle you used to capture it.

An amazing image-- full of life and death at the same time. Your interpretation of another artist's work is superb, somber in tone, stressing just those parts that make the monument's point most effectively.
