Your close vantage point stresses the linkage between "Flora" and "flowers" here. Time has ravaged the tombstone, and the pitiful offering of those plastic flowers seem ever more sad and lonely. I had photographed the same tombstone from a bit further back before you arrived http://www.pbase.com/image/97662124) -- amazingly, the plastic flowers seem to have subsequently floated closer to their namesake. Strange places, these graveyards!
