I've included this image because it so represents our experience. As we wandered about making images, we were often followed by groups of children. It was sometimes difficult to shoot around them.

This was like my wife sat in the courtyard with the laptop and when I came back she had 8 kids sat next to her looking at the laptop. I like your hat with the Vietnamese flag.

This brings back many fond memories for me of my own trip to Vietnam. I so well remember all the children vying for attention, and especially the camera's. And also was the nice fact they never demanded money in return for taking their pictures. It was fun to shoot them, then show them the instant result in the LCD and watch their excitement and glee. Trouble is, as you say, it eventually made it hard to shoot anything at all for the constant clamoring for attention. Still, to me that was a very endearing part of my trip to Vietnam.

The pied piper himself. This so typical of our experiences in Vietnam's small towns. It was hard to shoot around them -- they were constantly peering in my viewfinder. Thanks for making this memory live, Tim -- it was hard, but very rewarding.
