::Cuba: A Collection of Galleries::

I jumped on the chance to visit Cuba through a cultural exchange photo trip. I encouraged several of my friends and wife to come with me. What a joy it was to visit this country that in some ways seems stuck in the past yet is struggling to be in the present. There were definitely some complications with the trip like the fact that our hotel ran out of water daily. But the warmth of the people was the prevailing memory I have.

TIM; I looked at every one of these Cuban Photos and to me you showed the universal humanity of all people. Some of my favorites were Carrott Bouquett, A Moments Rest ( felt this picture had a very emotional feel-the fellow in the middle seemed to be 'floating' when I first looked at it, and the headless fellow on the left added to the emotions of the picture). Ants, Laundry, Sad Procession and Nail were also interesting. And liked your bird pictures too. Thanks for sending these.
