Measured base-to-peak, Denali is the tallest land based mountain anywhere on Earth.
This is a BIG mountain and is large enough to have it own climate. I was fortunate to capture the summit with only mild cloud caps.
I believe the McKinley peak is roughly 40 miles distant and the road on the right is almost 3 miles away..
