This 50's vintage photo was disintegrating before my very eyes. The emulsion was flaking off at an alarming rate. It was also composed grossly off center, was soft, needed tonal modification and had fixer stains.
It is a friend's important family photo and needed serious help. I had to fabricate the lower portion of the shoes, the foliage on the upper left and the entire right hand side of the photograph.
