Aly and took a day trip and drove out to this coastal city. Largely a fishing town, Dangriga was a bit rougher than we expected and we clearly stood out we walked down the main street. We ate at small lunch kitchen. Rice and beans with chicken was for lunch. A few Belikin beers later and we were set. We also spent a few hours searching for a well-known Belizean artist by the name of Benjamin Nicholas. Aparently his address had changed and we were on the wrong street. Finally we did find him and chatt with this old man surrounded by his brightly colorful canvases.
