Rain Damage in Southern California February 19, 2005
Flooding at the Fullerton Golf Course. This is a very dangerous area because the water is at least 15 feet deep in some areas and the current is very strong. In 1979, the water was at least 20 feet deep in some areas. The Brea Creek comes from the north end, onto the golf course. It is usually a very small stream...but when we have a lot of rain there is flooding. The Brea Dam is down stream to the south...and the dam helps regulate the flow of flood water.
I had to change my galleries and I moved this comment from my previous gallery containing these photos...Missy
