Brea Dam, Fullerton, CA

This dam was authorized in 1936, constuction was started in 1940 and completed in 1942. The Brea Creek flows through the Fullerton Golf Course and under Bastanchury Road, into the reservoir to the south.

From the reservoir, the downstream channel flows south through the city of Fullerton business district. The channel is monitored so that they can slow down the release of the water in order to prevent the channel from over flowing.
