Can someone help me out on identifying the make/model of this airplane?

I'm going to take a guess like everyone else, but with a short fuselage like it has when you compare it to the jet engines, it looks like a good ol' 737 to me. Am I right? I wouldn't bet my retirement on it no, but that's my .02 worth and certainly all it's worth. I'm very familiar with military aircraft, but civilian aircraft, not so much. It's an absolutely magnificent picture though just like the rest.

is this a merging of photos?

Stunning capture. Is there any post processing or merging, or is this pure brilliance?

Looks more like a DELTA 767. Look at the tail.

Aw, com'on you guys,,,you're debating the type of plane!!! Look at the photo, it's spectacular!

From the shape of the engines and tail cone it looks like an Airbus. From the size it's a 319 or 320 --- probably a 319 -- USAirways.

US Air. I am going to go out on a limb and say that it is a B767-200 based on the proportions and the arangement of the flap guides. It is hard to judge the scale from the photo, so it could be an A319. They don't fly their A330s transcontinentally. Very nice shot.

Yes, I would say it is US Airways - and probably an A330 - but not sure.
