LEAVES OF THE WATER-LILY

Edwin and I went for a walk nearby the castle of Staverden. In the water nearby there were these leaves of the water-lily. Their colours reminded me of autumn leaves. The reflection of the clouds coloured yellow in the water. The combination of red and orange leaves with the yellow reflection created a picturesque image. I like it when a picture is achieved this way; not by planning ahead but by reacting on a situation. I often find myself taking pictures with my eyes just by looking around.
