Most of these are my friends. I'm the one with the spiked hair and the girl sitting on his lap. I just found this gallery of my friends and I back when we were attending East High around 2002-2003. Funny to see something like this 10 years later.

I will say though, even now you all probably won't read this, but you need to learn what a goth is and what you see above, none of us ever called ourselves goth. It's just a creative way we liked to dress.

Wow, This Is Really Amamzing. How Everyone Has Their Own Opinion About "Goth" And What It Is And What It Means. How Can Anyone Say What Goth Means? i used to think i was goth till i talked to a few goths and realized that as deep as they claim to be....they are nothing but judgemental, miserable people. I myself am a miserable fuck and so are they. We just need to all face the facts that we are inferior....for in our own cliche words "our souls are totally rotting duddeees!!!" being goth is like going up to the flame on a hot stove and touching it repeatedly without ceasing...its masochistic and INFERIOR. enough said.

eeeh, i dont know. i started out in the goth scene over 10 years ago.. and it IS how you dress. it IS what you listen to. and i would not consider any of these so-called 'goth' bands (evenesance, marilyn manson.. whoever) to listen to.. they are not goth. goth died when marilyn made it ugly. it WAS a beautiful thing. it wans tall about death and suicide. there was so much more to it. and we were happy.

goth isn't a label it a type of architecture and music, like the cure not slipknot or marylin mansion. labels are fucking lame,. and punk is a whole subculture and lifestyle. not some kids with mohawks and boots. whats the point of dressing in all black any way. from a artistic point of view the pictures are pretty good. dress how u want but don't label yourself or others.

Where's the "goths" and "punks"? Looks just like a bunch of Hot Topic shopping Nu Metal kiddies.Slipknot, Manson and NIN are not goth.
To those who don't know anything about the "goth" subculture it is an offshoot of punk rock. Early "goth" bands such as the bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees combined punk rock and glam with dark spooky lyrics. Since the music was very eerie in sound they decided to call it goth comparing it to the gothic architechture of cathedrals.Deathrock and batcave also called "Death Punk" or "Goth-Punk" is an early form of goth music these included bands such as Specimen,and Christian Death. Joy Division a post-punk band is often referred to as the first "goth" band because of the dark depressing lyrics and the fact that many "goth rock" bands were influenced by them.If anyone is interested in the goth or punk subculture I suggest researching online also check the messageboards of sykospark.net.
