Well, the Democrats learned a few things about America on Tuesday, or didn't.

They learned they need to help the poor instead of hangout with Hollywood bling bling

That you shouldn't talk about your opponents children. People think it's unseemly.

That 18-24 year old people and single women just don't vote.

That candidates spouses shouldn't use words like scum bag and jerk, or tell people to shove it when TV cameras are around. (Do you think Bill Clinton will do this if Hillary gets nominated?)

That Michael Moore and his camp were the lightning rod that mobilized the Republicans to vote against Kerry, even if those same Republicans didn't especially like Bush either.

That adjectives such as incompetent, arrogant, despicable, contemptible, blind, liar, and beneath contempt.....don't cut it with most Americans. It's one thing to do this among themselves in private conversation, quite another to do it on the national stage and public forum..

That they need to find a candidate that respectfully disagrees instead of disagreeing disrespectfully.

That the party's grandfather figure should not be Ted Kennedy

That when you lose an election, you shouldn't cry about it for 4 years.

That people care about musicians and actors for their recordings and movies, but aren't interested in their politics.

That their black leaders should be from the cloth Barack Obama is cut from, not Jessie Jackson.

That you can't win an election with an east coast liberal as your candidate....the south will never vote for him/her.

That instead of running around an ideology of being against something, in this case Bush, you need to run around an ideology that is FOR something.

That they need to return to the day when people such as JFK define who they are, not Michael Moore.

That they lost in the same manner in which they hoped to win. That is, by mobilizing people to vote against John Kerry, not for George Bush.

Will they learn? Well Nancy Pelosi was on CSPAN BEFORE the Bush speech yesterday and here are a few blurbs.

"Bush has starved the no child left behind program"

"Bush was the worst job creator in 70 years"

"The Republicans were absolutely ruthless"

"We are ready for the lame duck"

Does this sound like a person who wants to heal the country? After all, she is the house minority leader.

Conciliatory? I think not. After watching her speech yesterday....I'm betting they didn't learn anything at all.

Only time will tell.

The dirty little secret of the campaign that the media has ignored is that people who may not have been too favorable towards Bush absolutely hated Kerry and his camp.

Let's hope Bush understands this.

Bush 2.51 million
Kerry 511,700

Population (2003) of counties won:

Bush 150,9 million
Kerry 103.6 million

Clearly John Kerry was a horrible choice for president and George W. Bush has a clear mandate to move forward on all points of his agenda.

This map does not lie, George W. Bush won 90 percent of the counties in the United States. John Kerry won a whopping 10 percent.

George Bush received more popular vote than any other presidential candidate in history. That should tell you democrats something about your wayward party. You got out the vote, and they voted for George W. Bush!

Great Job, Don. President Bush did not serve in Vietnam but he is truly an honest man. He did not earn Purple Heart medal but at least he did not throw away his uniform. Best of all, this man did not defame his comrades by saying they commited war crimes.

CAN kerry TAKE THE FORM 180 CHALLENGE? Pres. Bush has more ACTIVE DUTY TIME THAN kerry. Pres Bush is a FIGHTER PILOT, kerry is an enemy sympathizer, a TRAITOR, and a democrat!
If he is the best the demonicrats have to offer, that means the rest are even less honorable and more traitoris! Be a democrat? how embarrassing, be a leftist? never, be a liberal? GAG, BE A kerry supporter? DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!!!!!!

DON, I have been convinced never to vote democratic again.I would be supporting communistic philosophies, socialistic government, and excusing traitorous acts against America and Americans. I would have faith in the faithless, and seek truth from the trustless, and honor from those that never had honor. I would seek values from those who have never had values, and purpose from those who serve no purpose. If I had been a communist and had given aid and comfort to the enemy, accepted decorations for valor and heroism under false pretenses I would and could be a candidate for the demonicratic parities nominalnation for supreme leader and god for life. But alas I am but a humble servant of God and the American people, and of course my family and friends, of which I count you as. kerry/edwards are perhaps the best the DEMONICRATIC PARITY has to offer, and I have made my mind up to never look at another candidate for any office they could ever offer again. The choice is clear President Bush will get my vote, and so will the next Republican candidate they offer. They are a discrace to this Nation, you would be a complete and utter moron to believe they would or could defend this Country it's Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
