Oh how I luv an Honest Cheat, having said that I do like this picture, maybe because it's spontaneous, and I felt I've been here and never snapped a photo. Drove across the USA this past Nov and loved it. Will do the same in June sometimes and this time take more photos...TFS, enjoy your comments on my photos and your fantastic galleries

Absolutely love this shot. Everything about it has that "road trip" feel. The middle of nowhere, enough of the road showing to convey the sense of being the only car on the highway with a completely unobscured view of a brilliant sunset on the mountains. All this and the occupants view it by rolling thier window down rather than actually getting out. Been on many trips just like that. Voted.

I admire a man who has the wisdom to shoot out the window of the car. Wonderful scene and colors.

Mindy, excellent and interesting photo. Nice touch to include your friends in a good composition. I hope you got some more shots of the rest of the scene too.

I love that wide open country where you can see the sky. Nice to have friends along to share it with. Nice that you included them in the picture. And what a sunset!

Wow! Amazing array of colors in the sky and their transition form left to right (or vice versa).
Brian McAllister10-Aug-2005 03:56
Beautiful in so many ways. Aside from the incredible colors, what strikes me Mindy is your effort to include important people in your every day world, through photography. Whether it's your mom or friends. It's nice to see these pictures "from the heart." So from that point of view alone...Vote.

The background is outstanding, but the person looking back is what makes this shot.
