Due to frequent lens changing my D70 is prone to above average CCD dust collecting. So far I have tried plain blower application (as recommended in users' manual), pads and fluid method, and finaly Scotch Magic Tape (810/811 type) application. Despite few negative experiences, Scotch tape method worked for me. Here are 3 pics showing untreated sensor, after powerful hand blower applied and finaly after Scotch tape applied. Maybe I was just lucky or having a good tape sample...

it's actually my first "sticky tape" method ever. It gave me best results achieved so far, but it scares me as well. I'm not sure I'll stick to that method, simply don't feel that comfortable doing it. Probably has to do with lots of negative experiences around...
