Reversed comparison

When used reversed, added in front of primary lens (Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro in this case) lenses show very different results. Nikkor 50 f/1.4 shows more uniform light distribution and sharpness. Vignetting is less pronounced than with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.
