The original design of the "Thunderbird" had the controls in an airplane-like cockpit at the front of the cabin,
separated from the rest of the boat by a door, like the cockpit of a plane is separated from the cabin area.
Harrah had the controls relocated to the new flying bridge, allowing him to interact with his guests as
he was flying them across the water in what he referred to as his "70 mph cocktail lounge". . . .

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Wouldn't this be a blast to take for a run! (as long as somebody else was paying for the fuel and insurance)

Looks a bit like inside a cockpit.
