Nikon 70-300 VR at SF Zoo

My first time outside with my new lens, and of course, it had to be the zoo!
I was extremely pleased with the lens - it is terrific. I discovered AFTER the zoo that the "optimize image" setting was still on portrait from our Christmas gathering,
so the shots would have been even a touch more punchy and contrasty, if I had caught that beforehand.
I mostly used a tripod and had the VR turned off when I did.

These are all just great Laura! Grandpa makes me want to say ouch, but you can post all of the big cats you like and I'll love every one of them. I love any and all cats.
