Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge

Just a bit northwest of Sacramento, off Interstate 5, between the small towns of Willows and Williams, California. About a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I live, my sister and I visited on February 12, 2015. What a GREAT place to visit. We also went to the nearby Colusa Wildlife Refuge as well.

Back in my hunting days we would hunt at Sac NAT and Colusa. But my favorite was Volta by Los Banos.

Ah yes.... both are favorites of mine. The first time I saw a bald eagle was at SWR. Fun fun fun .....
