Dancing in the streets
Picture I took during The Montreal Jazz Festival, at the "La Carifiesta". Around 100000 people were dancing in the street on hot music, a lot of drums, very exciting and very nice to listen, a lot of rythm... and a lot of people! In memories of the historic battle agains the slavery of the people living in the Caraibes.

La Carifiesta
Picture I took during the event "La Carifiesta", a huge parade of music from Haiti in the streets of Montreal during the International Jazz Festival. A lot of beat, drums, and a lot of dancing. Here we can see a woman dancing to the beat. I used a yellow filter and polarizing filter for the contrast.

Death and life
We can see here a dead boy on the picture and an alive one. Picture I took during the manifestation in Montreal for the peace in Lebanon. When I saw the little boy between the flag and the dead child on the picture on his left, I decide to "shoot" it. To show how bad is the war when children get killed.

The Protector
We can see the statue protecting like an angel the children, with his hand over them. I took this picture in b&w to give more expression to the image, more shadows. I took this picture at The Old Port of Montreal, a Sunday afternoon.

GM Jazz Band
This is the GM Jazz Band playing during the Montreal Jazz Festival. Very alive music with percussions only. GM is moving from motors to music. Something unique, personable and fest-friendly for the folks to dance to with wild abdomen. Great!
