Great Photos indeed! I myself was born in the Klamath Valley Hospital on 4th and Pine. I remember Jerrys Drive In,(Blondies), Municipal Swimming Pool,(Ella Redkey Pool), Eagles Cafe,(Klamath Grill)..like so many photographers in the past your photos will go on as well to the young people who want to see what it use to look like. Thank you for sharing your Art of photography! Maude Baldwin would have been proud to see these! :-)

My wife, myself and my brother and sister were all born in the old Valley Hospital on Pine St. Dr Merriman delivered most of us. His office was only a block away. I have absolutely enjoyed your pictures. Like someone said above, the K Falls of the 60s, 70s and 80s no longer exist. However, you captured much of what it was in your photos. I worked at kitty's, Lapointe's and Specialized Services as a teen. I drank many a shake at the Eagles Cafe and what is now Klamath Grill. I loved going to dinner with my family once in a great while at Wongs or Molotores. I went to Mills and Peterson, and Altamont and Mazama and KU. I am currently in afghanistan working with the Army (I am a retired Army officer) and I can't tell you how much i appreciate this site; esp now. again, thx for sharing

omg good to see kf my grand dad built klamath falls my dad built an restored homes ect and uncle is still doing the crane business yep would be the doveri's hello to all miss the good old days !!!!!! how time flys

I AM THINKING OF MOVING THERE IN THE SPRING, APPRECIATE KNOWING WHAT THE TOWN LOOKS LIKE. HOPE I HAVE GOOD LUCK FINDING A PLACE FOR HORSES AND A JOB!

Great photos! I was born in Klamath Valley Hospital (ivy covered biuldings on Pine Street) in 1950 attended Fairview Elementary School, Fremont Junior High (now the First Baptist Church) and graduated from Klamath Union HS. Wonderful collection.

Thank you for these photos. You have captured more than beautiful & interesting, you have captured memories that I, for one, hold in my heart. It was a wonderful place to grow up and live from 1962-1983. I am fortunate to visit almost every year.

i have just spent the last hours looking thru your collection wishing that i could see k falls one last time. so many places i remember are gone. the joy of a pink polka dot box from lapointes at christmas, whytals always had fashons that you could find in current magazines, ernie sessom's toy store, a milkshake from the crater lake creamery or a carmel coke from jerry's, breakfast at the winema, rue serving your coffee, meeting friends for lunch at the pelican cafe. the elevator operator at the medical- dental building, popping in to greet drs. hilton and roenicke and payne. such a wonderful place, a place i dream of , a place that does not exist anymore except in my dreams, people that only live in the memories of those left who shared good times and their home, klamath falls. gods speed.............. the granddaughter of dean and charlotte osborn

I grew up here in klamath have not been back since I was 13 years old.Have been in Texas for about 35 years now but I know my heart is there in Klamath love the pics.My husband and I are comeing next year for vacation I cant wait

Thanks for photoing all of the place's that you photoed the site! when i moved as a child to Alturas ca. my mom and me and my brother would go up to Klamath and some ties Portland to see my grand parents! Did you do most of your photing by walking,or car? are you still in Klamthfalls?

Hi from M.Dennis Sanders. I was born in the old Healside hospital.i remember living on a procject on a heel.for about 3 or 4 years.i remember seeing 3 fighting plane's yellow and black that i remember? plesae pardon my spelling! have you heard of them? take care if you are still.

I lived in Klamath Falls for 37 years, due to the Economy I moved to Salem 10 years ago I love the pictures. I miss my Hometown, I sure like to browse through the pics, I have been everywhere those were taken, I miss tking Bike rides on the A Canal and OC&E trail and the open country and the Fresh Air. If the Economy would allow I would move back there in a heartbeat.

Great photos! I would also love to see pics of Riverside Elementary School. I went there in 1970, when I was 5 years old. If you are up around 3rd and Grant St. I would love to see a pic of the corner two story house I lived in on the south corner of 3rd. I noticed on aerial maps that the evergreen shrubs are still there! Your photos brought back the few memories I have of Klamath Falls. Thanks!

Yes i agree, these pictures should have some organization and a way to search for particular photos based on location but these are truly wonderful photos and clearly the photographer has a unique sense of style for taking photos.

Wish there was a way to search pictures. Looking for pics of KAGO Hill and Riverside Elementary School. Great photography though, I grew up in that town and these pictures really represent what Klamath's all about- Krocket Man (Tony) to Klamath Correctional Facility (one of the main sources of KF's revenue are the traffic and criminal legal systems, respectively.) Great work!

Beautiful photo's, Im new to the area and these pictures make me see the town in a more beautiful and artistic way. Why no pictures of Wubba's? Great little BBQ shack with friendly owners, they make klamath falls feel warm and welcoming.
