Even though it's not spline roadbed, building a specialty track of this nature requires a lot of clamping power! Here the 21' long track that is to be snaked into the groove on the back wall behind the pesky heating pipe is having its' 1/4" luan roadbed glued to the 3/4" birch plywood sub-roadbed using virtually every clamp of this type that I have.
