I spent three pleasant days, on and off, building this bridge to take the place of the retired single deck girder span. In order to clear double stacks, I could not use the lacework cross connectors in the kit. Searching for Warren Truss images on the web, I found sufficient evidence that bridges were at times modified as shown. I used Plastruct I-Beam and lattice girder the same dimension as the main chords of the bridge girders, and received sign-off from noted model bridge critic Scott Chatfield! :)
