my grandfather, James Jacob Johnson, passed away after a long battle with alzheimers on March 15, 2008. He was a fighter, and a great grandfather to me, as well as a Korean war veteran and a great painter. These photos are from my trip to N.C. and the funeral. I hope they convey a message to you of celebration and loss.
