Inspiration. This is the last in this mini series of things that inspire both my photography and my music. Probably the least known here are the two Jaques Tati films – Playtime and Mr Hulot’s Holiday.

Jaques Tati, in my opinion was a genius. Apart from the humour in these films, they are visually stunning. The composition and attention to detail in each scene is superb. In Playtime there is so much happening separately in the foreground and background that you can watch the film several times and not see the same film twice!
