Each August for practically the whole month Swamp Mallow bloom on Cape Cod in the marshes. A couple of years ago I found a particularly large patch along the roadside on my way to Sandy Neck for some dawn photography. I didn't make it to Sandy Neck for the whole month and August finds me in the same marsh on many mornings.
