Landscapes

As photographers we don't have to travel far to get the shot. A lot of these pictures are taken along a small stretch of country road at the back of my house; local knowledge allows me to make the most out of atmospheric weather conditions. Most of these photos have been taken while out cycling, this slows me down and allows me to see more.

I am inspired by your work, Matthew. I often bring camera along while cycling also. I've experimented with carrying the DSLR equip and it's a bit heavy. I finally have downsized my kit to a G10 and mini-pod for these adventures. I'm interested in how you carry your gear. Oh, and if I haven't said it strong enough: Fantastic photos! V

Wonderful color work. You have here fantastic photos. Some are great for its incredible sensibility, some for its simplicity, some for its depth and color work. And since I love trees it's a joy to find a gallery like this. Truly inspirational.
