Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, just north of Sardinia. The island is owned by the French, and famed as the birthplace of Napoléon Bonaparte. My family and I visited Corsica for 2 weeks in the summer of 2007. There are many beautiful and interesting places to see, from the traditional towns filled with shops selling oils, wines and bread to the amazing mountain scenery in the centre of the island. The photos represent only a small insight into the charming island.
