Low Light Photo Opportunities

I am always amazed how my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens, the Canon 35mm f/2.0, the Canon ef-s 17-55mm f.2,8 IS USM, the Tamron sp af 28-75mm f/2.8 and the Tamron sp af 17-35mm can capture images with terrific sharpness and color in low light situations, without using a flash, so much so, that I am obsessive in finding interesting compositions which show off these lense's most impressive feature. I am also impressed, as a photographer, with the realtively low noise and bokeh which is another strong point of these high quality AF EF lens. It is a highly recommended for all Canon EOS cameras including the Rebel, New Rebel XT, 20D, 10D and 1DS. Photos by Michael Weinberg Photography of Scranton and Clarks Summit PA Pennsylvania.

I really enjoyed this gallery Michael. You've really captured some wonderful colors and lighting. I have the Canon 50 1.4 as well but I rarely use it except for at home using candles for lighting. Usually when I'm out and about I swap between the 17-40 and the 70-200 and packing around 2 lenses is enough. After seeing your shots I might have to reconsider hauling it around with me. Regards Jim
