The Bride Looks into the Lens at the Ketubah Signing Ceremony

Temple Israel, Scranton, Pennsylvania

It was all serious business, but with a little humor mixed in here and there.
You would think, by the legal nature of the proceedings that it involved a major
monetary transaction. And that is almost correct... as what is being transacted
is an agreement of marriage between a Jewish Man and a Jewish Woman according to
all the Biblical and Talmudic Laws... a legal transaction concerning something
far more valuable than goods or money. Here, as the communithy witness signs the
document, the Bride, realizing this was a photo op, looked directly into the
photographer's lens. Kudos to the well composed bride on her special day.

The five war brides in the rear look like they are facing a firing squad. - Where is the chuppah? - Is the guy on the right the groom? He looks done. Poor fella.

She better be looking at the ketubah, as who knows what's written on this piece of paper ?!
