At The Americanism Award Dinner Honoring Raymond S. Angeli

Scranton Jewish Community Center, Scranton, PA

On May 7, 2006, Raymond S. Angeli, Lackawanna College President, was awarded
the prestigioius Amos Lodge #136, B'nai B'rith Americanism Award, at a dinner,
in his honor, at the Jewish Community Center of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Over
180 people attended this event which included guest speakers, David Magidson
of the Jewish War Veterans, and Representative Paul Kanjorski from Pennsylvania's
11th Congressional District. Also speaking on Mr. Corcoran's behalf was the Hon.
Christopher Doherty, Mayor of Scranton, the Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, and State
Senator Robert Mellow who presented the Americanism Award to Mr. Angeli. The
event was smoothly run by Toastmaster Jeffrey Rubel, Vice President of the
Scranton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event was sponsored and organized by
Amos Lodge #136 of B'nai Brith, Allan Davidson, President,
Edward Monsky, Esq. and Richard S. Bishop, Esq., dinner co-chairmen.
