Mission: Making an Abstract from Bordem #2

Epcot, Orlando, Florida

Here we were at Mission Space at Epcot. This is the number one new attraction at the theme park, and as you might have guessed, to get on the ride, you must wait for what seems an eternity. And to complicate matters, after waiting on line for over 45 minutes, an announcement was made that there was a malfunction and that the wait was going to be extended for at least another half hour.

While in the waiting area, a dark place, with a moving display of futuristic space station, I had the idea that I could turn that disply into some kind of abstract.... that is if I could be successful to get enough light. To accomplish that mission, I used my trusty Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens and set it at the almost the widest setting, 30mm, opening up the aperture all the way to f/2.8 and setting the iso at 1600, hoping that noise would not destroy the final result.

And so, with all the people waiting impatiently on line, looking at me and asking themselves, "what could this guy possibly be taking a picture of in such a dark place" I snapped away at the large glass enclosed, moving display. And Voila! what you see is what I got. Was it worthwhile?
