Taking photos from a Cessna 172 can be a real challenge. The window is small,
and a fixed wheel and a wing strut are potential obstacles. To get off a good
photo, besides having good settings, you need to focus your efforts, with your
camera out of the window, towards the rear of the plane, because that is where
your unobstructed view of below is a available. It was a cloudy day, and it
was getting dark, but good fortune allowed a few clouds to open up so I could
catch this view of the resort from about 1500 feet.
