Last Stop: Jim Thorpe, PA

Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania

Through the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania, this train arrives at its final
destination, Jim Thorpe. The passengers leave the train, and go to their vehicles in
the parking lot to the left. What you see here is a scene that was common in America,
but now, the glory days of the local train station seems to be fading away. What a shame.

I guess this glory is fading away simply because the opportunity to shoot bisons from the window of moving train is not there any longer , as in old good times back in 19th century... So general American public is not interested in train travel anymore...

Nice photo. Looks like the same train that takes you through the mountain for the fall color tour in October.
