Chatchka

Brooklyn, New York

Just an old ceramic piece on a bookshelf in my mother-in-law's apartment in Brooklyn, NY. Originally it was bought in a dollar store for 99¢. Today it is worth about the same. The photo was taken in a relatively dark room with some ambient daylight filtering through the insect screens and old style venetian blinds. A considerable amount of Photoshop hue / saturation adjustment used to bring out the colors. Photo by Michael Weinberg Photography Clarks Summit and Scranton, Pennsylvania

Such an interesting ceramic artwork. Nice shot.

Hi Guest. You certainly have a colorful critiquing language. Yes, I surely do enjoy playing with those apertures and opening them wide, but I most definitely have NO problem stopping down, on occasion, to sharpen my focus when it moves me to do so. Best Regards, Michael.

Another image with sufficient depth. You seem to have a hardon for super wide apertures. But I think your best shots are the ones taken slightly narrower.
