Medieval village (Gard, FRANCE)
Very typical village on the south of France but difficult for a photographer (high light contrasts)

Spent 7 days in early July 08..what a magniicent village, opened up a great area of France,as one who can claim French Huguenot blood it was an experience... especially if one ventured to Ales and the surrounding rugged hinterland..in the past 40 odd years have ventured into France many times starting in 1967..I own 3 Citroen cars ..which is a story in it self...the photos released a flood of memories..getting a time exsposure of the floodlighted twon using an attractive ladys back was interesting.Chantel ? the tourist office agent with her donkey added to the total charm...my wife and I became good friends...I mean with Chantel..who cares it is Le Belle France

Nice work. Over cast lighting helps cut contrast.
