Toronto's Last Castle

Nope. It's not Casa Loma. Casa Loma may be most famous Toronto's "castle", but not to my eyes and taste.
I knew about this place for a long time, but never went there to shoot. This time I was just exploring Toronto's East side, hoping to shoot on the Queen street. The weather was dull and rainy, so all my attempt to shoot on the Queen street failed quite miserably. and I tired to drive somewhere else. I drove down the Queen street and past some long low building. Really did not notice anything interesting. Then I turned around and took a look under different angle. I was instantly interested in strong lines and perspective suddenly opened to my eyes. The entire place look like an old castle or citadel of some kind. I thought it might be fort. I parked my car and decided to explore the place , since to my surprise it was open for access. There was a construction work going around and I stopped one of the workers and asked what is this place. "R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant" he said. Now I knew where I will take images for my next gallery. All images here are HDR. This is probably only second time I used HDR not just to increase dynamic range, but to create some different atmosphere. The other one was here Badlands or Three Hours on Mars
