Hullo Mike, like you I'm from the Bahamas. I document over 150 RAF and other air crashes there in WWII and generally any relics, artifacts, graves. I see your father documented many of the RAF funerals. Do you have any stock images or new material about such topics, whether, planes, bases, persons, places or things? I'm developing a TV or documentary treatment from Boston to return to Castle Island, Acklins, Andros, etc. Yours, Eric ericwiberg@sbcglobal.net, tel 2038569677

Hi Michael
Congratulations on your beautiful photos!
I believe you - or. maybe it was someone else - wrote a book which included a description of your father Stanley's travels on the ketch Fayaway, and in particular about getting caught in a 3 day storm off Bimini. Do you know where I might acquire or peruse this book? Many thanks.

ay Michael, this is LORNA HUDDLESTON looking to see if you are still alive and well.

I hope you get this. Remember my UNCLE ADDISON THOMPSON IN CORAL GABLES?
My mother CLAIRE THOMPSON HUDDLESTON died about 2 years ago. Now there are no more Thompsons.

I heard of Andy's death through my Uncle Ad. Your sisters, Jane and Clare, yes? Are they still kicking?

I've been living in Pacific Northwest for last 20 years. I moved to Oregon from San Francisco to be closer to my mother.

I really miss my old home in California, remember my house in the "Woods"? Your folks brought you all all the way to the West.

A year ago I moved from Corvallis to a smaller university town called Monmouth, OREGON.

It would be a kick to hear from you. Very best wishes.

Hi Brian
It is possible. My grand dad Charles, had one son (I think), Stanley, born in Dorset 1913.
Toogood is quite a common name in SW England. I do not have any info on
my grand fathers parents.

Hello Mr. Toogood,
I feel I already know you, as I was once the owner of your fathers old Ketch "Fayaway". She was a lovely boat, and he did a great job building her, all those years ago. I bought her in 1993 and owned her until 1998. I just wanted to say hello.
Regards,
Don Carson (busman1965@aol.com)

Hello Mr.Toogood,
First of all your work is amazing I have seen it on the BAHAMAS WEDDING PLANNER website.
I am getting married in July 2009. I am very in decisive about what beach to get married on, Sunrise/cabbage or cable behind the Sheraton???? Since Photography for me is one of the if not the most important elements of our wedding I was wondering in your opinion which beach are you partial to?? I would greatly appreciate it if when you get a chance could email me back with some suggestions or input advice?? maybe even if you have any photos of weddings on cable/ sheraton beach , that would do me a world's of help.

My email is Adrisma916@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Kathy Lopez(NY)

Hello Michael,
My Mum, aged 90yrs, has been reminiscing today about happy times she spent with your father, Stanley Toogood in UK. Evidently they were childhood friends and Mum was telling me about S.T's early years in Bahamas. I found your site and thought I would get in touch. Mum would be so interested to know more about S.T's life and career in Bahamas. Evidently, Mum featured in one photo printed in National Geographic, possibly in 1930's!

Hi Rebekah. Sorry it took so long...hope the images help. I had like about two minutes!!

Hello Michael. First I would like to say your work is amazing. Just a few questions. My fiance and I are marrying in St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Nassau, Bahamas this December 2006 and we are seeking photos of the OLD PORTION (inside) of the church. There are several pictures of the new portion, but I have yet to see the old. I would feel more comfortable seeing it before the BIG DAY although I guarantee it is beautiful! Do you have any pictures available of the inside of the old portion? I see that there are outside views posted of the old and inside photos of the new on this site. I thought maybe you have more? Also, is there anyway I could get some quotes from you to photograph our wedding in December? Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.
Pam 01-Aug-2006 02:13
Hi Michael--It's great to hear from you. Your wedding photos are beautiful! Looks like you're busy every weekend. Kelly said he didn't get your e-mail, but I haven't heard from him in a few weeks. I'm still at SA on Nassau Street and I grew up in "New Providence". How are your sisters doing and your Mom? Do you still see Peter and David? Do you remember "Nan"? We're celebrating her 100th birthday this year! Do you remember the canvas you sketched and she painted? My father has that one and I hope to be inheriting it soon. Question--the storm scene you have in your gallery. Is it a photo of a real storm or a photo of a painting? I love it!
Regards to all,
Pam

Hi Pam! Great to hear from you... have been thinking about you after all those rain and flood stories! Hope you and yours are well, happy and dry.Kelly and I have crossed paths a few times over the years...he comes over once in a while to the casino (Kelly, did you get my e-mail?) No word from other A.I ."crew"... Duon, Tom, Kevin!!! where are you!! Pam, I hope you are still taking photos...you too had a good eye. Are you still at SA on "Nassau" St. (How ironic is that!) Yep, that peas 'n rice tasted good!!!

Michael.

Michael...Got this site from your Mother-in-law and just spent this evening
looking at your beautiful photos...having been in the wedding business years ago
with my husband, I can certainly appreciate a "master" photographer when I see one.
You really do a great job!
Chris Groucott 19-Apr-2005 13:46
