Sat and watched this Great Blue Heron stalk, catch and eat a small fish this afternoon.
He was located right outside our boat house.
Took the boat out today for the first time this season.
Went over into Canadian waters to an island named Mandarte to watch the birds there.
On the way over and back encountered an Orca pod. They were pretty spread out
and they seemed to be just traveling through. Not much playing.
However, I did see one young orca breach out of the water.....and no I didn't get a picture of it.
I tried though:(
