Our first guided group tour brought us to the infamous blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and Tyrrhenian Sea. We explored the region for two weeks spanning from Nice, France to Sicily, Italy. A British Airways flight delivered us from San Francisco, CA to Nice, France with a stopover at Heathrow, London. Our first destination was Nice, France. Taormina, Sicily was the final leg of the trip. The weather was still surprisingly warm in mid-September (28 - 30 degree Celsius or high 80s' - low 90s' Farenheit). There are many highlights thru out the trip but the best one is the regular group self-sustained happy hour at every destination along the way...
