Our late vacation (for a reason) this year took us to this friendly southern hemisphere Down & Under country/continent. Melbourne is the first leg of the trio. Late November is the end of Spring in Australia. December 1st is the start of the hot summer months. We stayed for five days exploring the city before flying to Sidney. We appreciate a/c Tien & Thinh very much for taking time off to be our best tour guide and showing us the beautiful Melbourne. Many thanks to Tuan/Chau for a very nice evening allowing Thanh Huong to reminiscing the good old days with your parents... It was incredible for me to run into my sorority sister whom I first met in 1973 (a third-of-a-century ago) when I was a Freshman at the University of Dalat, School of Business... The weather was ideal and pleasant while we were there. Melbourne is well known to have four seasons in one day. Temperature can vary from the low 60s' to high 90s' or low 100s' during the day. Driving in Australia is on the left-hand side. It'd take quite a bit of adjustment for us, US folks, to stay on the left instead of veering to the right most of the time!!! The current exchange rate is about $0.77USD for $1AUD...
