Each year the Blue Knights CAXVII chapter donates money to various Law Enforcement Explorer units as well as other local charities like City Corps, Ride for Kids, and Food Share. We started off the new year with a donation to the CHP Explorer Post in Moorpark, CA. Chapter members making the presentation at the Moorpark CHP office were Jerry Pereia, Joe Galante, Dave Bloom, Mark Boltinhouse, Mark Englander, George Fitzgerald, George Conahey, and Ernie Eglin. Other members wanted to be present but work schedules or holiday travel intervened. The Explorer Scouts and their advisors were appreciative and we wish them well in their endevors.
