The organisers of the Owen Price sports fund Pen Y fan Mountain challenge 2006 would like to thank you all for taking part. Most of the people who took part in this walk did not have the chance to be involved with meeting Owen, but those who did were left with a memory of am extremely talented young sportsman who lived for sport. Owen was only 17 ans was a net minder for the Cardiff Devils Ice hockey team as well as playing Roller Hockey for Pontypool Skater Hockey Club and WALES. Owen was determined, dedicated and a fighter,how ever ill he was on times he would always be there for training day. He always had a smile on his face along with his wicked sense of humour. His passion in life was Hockey. This trust fund was set up by his parents Colin and Hayley, for the future benefit of small sports clubs in the Torfaen area who need funding.
