y0u were a minute quicker than me....
This was my one and only marathon, and was so chuffed to break 3 hours
I reckon it took me about 5 mintes to cross the start line ,
so I actually was much quicker really

Good for you! I've done a few half-marathons myself. It is very exciting!

I did the Great Inverurie bike ride a couple of years ago, 25miles, what they dont tell you is the first 12.5miles are up hill.. .Killed me..!!! My mate went round twice in the time it took me to do it once... :-)

Great time, but you look like you need a couple of cheese burgers... ;-)

I wish I could run as fast as you did for this marathon.
I'm rather more like a snail so enjoy long distance trail where speed is less important.
Have you heard of the Ultra-trail around Mont-Blanc (see :http://www.pbase.com/rannoch_moor/utmb) ?
Cheers, Nicolas.
