On a very warm May 27, 2007, Jim Morrison, President of the Hancock's Resolution site in northern Anne Arundel County, MD, again hosted Dr. Dobbs - a Revolutionary War reenactor. He regaled visitors with descriptions of medicine and what now seems brutal surgery necessary in the days of that war. He also made pleas for support of the troops at Valley Forge, who were in desperate need of almost everything, including food. The afternoon also provided an interesting insight into one segment of farming life in the 18th century.
